The salon offers individual grooming for dogs and cats, and owner Georgie Hinkley described the opening as a “dream” come true.
The 23-year-old said the past few weeks had been hectic, preparing the living room for the opening.
Georgie said: “It all happened so fast.
“It happened unexpectedly, I found myself out of work on January 30, and on the 31st I ended up coming here and looking at the premises, then I got the keys on Wednesday.
“It was crazy but I had so many people to help, my boyfriend and his parents were amazing and a few friends too.
“I’m lucky to have so much support.”
Despite this quick turnaround, Georgie is pleased with the reception her business has received so far.
She added: “It’s crazy I’ve been inundated I’ve been here all week so I’ve already had people come and book so it looks good for people. first two weeks.”
Georgie, who has eight years of experience in pet grooming, added: “I ran my mum’s dog grooming salon but decided to split up and start my own.
“I offer personal service, I’m the only groomer there so it will always be me taking care of their pet so they see a familiar face every time.
“It’s also a beautiful calm and tranquil environment.”
The salon is located at 9 Station Yard, Needham Market, and Georgie believes the area will help improve her business.
She said: ‘I go to Needham Lakes a lot and see so many dogs here and I know a lot of people in Needham Market who have dogs so it’s a good place.
“People can also come from places like Ipswich and Stowmarket.
“People can drop their dogs off and go for a coffee in town, so it’s a great location.”
