Nuneaton’s former pet store could become a traditional Italian take-out pizza

A former pet store and grooming salon could become Nuneaton’s last takeaway pizza.

Plans have been revealed to transform the former lounge at 13 Bull Street in Attleborough into an Italian take-out pizzeria.

According to a request submitted to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, take-out would become a traditional Italian take-out pizza.

The restaurant would be open for delivery and collection.

A building permit is required to change the use of the building to an A5 to take away.

Not only that, there are proposals to install a flue and fan for a ventilated gas oven on a flat roof as well as a new store front, wrapping and blocking two upstairs front windows.

The plan is for it to be open from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday to Friday and from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The proposal is now with planners at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

They will decide whether or not to give the green light to the plan.

A target date for decision has been set for August 9.
