Samsung’s eco-friendly packaging turns into a pet house

Everything we buy comes in some form of packaging. When buying larger devices like televisions, the packaging is just too big to just throw in the trash and that’s a problem too. However, this is what Samsung hopes to improve.

Starting with its smart TVs from its The Serif, The Frame and The Sero range, Samsung has adopted an eco-responsible approach. Buyers can take the packaging and adapt it for something else, giving it new life and allowing users to get the most out of it instead of just throwing it away.

This includes options like turning the boxes into a small table, a folder for your files and papers, or for those with pets, a small pet house. Pretty cool.

The Executive Vice President and Head of the Visual Display Business Product Strategy Team at Samsung Electronics said, “Consumers are more likely to buy from a brand that shares the same fundamentals and values as they do, and with our eco-friendly packaging, we believe we can offer our customers a new experience that sees the environment as an important way to express themselves.

Reuse this box to make less waste in the world. Good job Samsung.
