Brady mentions in her post that this is not the first time that alleged animal abuse has been committed by the employee, whom she identifies as Phyliis Lucca.
âThat’s what this horrible woman does to every dog ââevery day. She even broke a dog’s jaw two weeks ago,â Brady wrote in her article. âShe took the dog by the neck and shook it and slammed it on the table. “
Lucca told WFTX that what she had done was not animal abuse, but necessary action taken for the “general health” of the dog.
âIf you see the video, I know it looks bad, but that’s not what I’m doing,â Lucca told WFTX. âWhat the dog did was pass out and she passed out and what I did was hold her head and shake her. That’s all.”
A few weeks ago, the owner of a toy poodle named Pumpkin told WFTX that Lucca was responsible for Pumpkin’s jaw fracture after being released from the groomer with blood all over his mouth and bruising on his stomach. .
Brady and Pumkin’s owner told WFTX he plans to file a lawsuit against Lucca.
